Shrouded
Acrylic and wax pastel on canvas | 30 x 10 inches | 2023 | $540
An abstract reflection on what the forest conceals — and what quietly reveals itself when you slow down.
Shrouded is about veils — of fog, shadow, and dense foliage — that soften the landscape and blur the way forward. I worked intuitively, layering soft, muted tones and shapes that feel half-seen, half-remembered. It carries the hush of a misty forest morning, where outlines blur, sounds are muffled, and the air feels heavy with waiting.
If you’re craving a little calm or contemplation in your space, Shrouded brings that quiet presence — a gentle invitation to pause and notice what’s just beneath the surface.
It’s especially striking alongside Tangled — together, they create a push and pull of energy and rest, light and shadow.
