Built on a foundation of hand-painted papers from my 100 Days Project, this piece layers translucent acrylic to create a luminous, textile-like surface. Painted on birch panel, the natural wood grain peeks through, adding subtle warmth beneath the cool palette of blues, indigos, and chartreuse. The colours evoke the feeling of faded denim — soft, worn in, and familiar.

This painting is for anyone who finds comfort in things that age well: blue jeans, good memories, and the stories we carry in layers.
