All My Selves in Sync
Acrylic on birch panel | 24 x 24 inches | 2025 | $650
All My Selves in Sync continues my expansion of the Fractured Harmony series, scaling up my earlier collage-inspired studies and translating their contrasts into paint. With a palette that leans into cooler blues, the composition brings together organic shapes, geometric forms, and layered textures to create a dynamic interplay of structure and ease.
The process is slow and accumulative: layers are added, scraped back, sanded, and rebuilt, allowing earlier decisions to remain visible beneath new ones. This negotiation between revelation and concealment mirrors the way my creative selves show up in the studio — the intuitive painter, the problem-solver, the quiet observer. Each has a hand in shaping the work.
The title speaks to those rare moments when those parts of me feel aligned, when colour, gesture, and form begin to move in the same direction. What emerges is a painting that feels both intentional and exploratory, shifting gently between clarity and ambiguity.
For collectors drawn to layered abstraction, considered colour relationships, and subtle textural surprises, All My Selves in Sync offers a generous, contemplative viewing experience — one that continues to unfold the longer you sit with it.
