Have you ever come back from a holiday and tried to re-create the experience in your own home?

Polvo & Companhia was my response to a trip to Portugal. I returned home longing for fresh seafood, walks on cobblestone streets and evening swims in the ocean. Instead, I turned to painting transparent papers. Laying them down, like overlapping memories, to create a series of collage travelogues.
